The Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution (CICR) provides training and intervention programs in Canada and abroad. CICR’s community-based approach to conflict resolution first defines community as where we live, where we work, where we interact, or where we have a sense of belonging. Second, we look at training as both a tool to build ones capacity as a conflict resolver and as an intervention tool to help conflicted parties work out their differences and gain a new appreciation of their differences.
